How does the prepaid wallet balance work?

You top up your wallet in {{currencies}} using {{payment_methods}}. Every request is metered by the platform as it finishes and charged to your plan allowance or wallet, and the usage page in your dashboard shows each charge.

Do I need an international credit card with dual currency endorsement?

No. You can pay with {{payment_methods}}, so you do not need a dual-currency card or a passport endorsement to buy AI API access.

Can I use Tokens with OpenCode and OpenAI compatible clients?

Yes. Tokens provides an OpenAI-compatible API gateway. Simply set your OPENAI_BASE_URL to our gateway endpoint and pass your Tokens API key. Full setup recipes are available in our documentation.

What happens if my wallet balance runs out during an active coding session?

If your balance reaches zero, the gateway returns a descriptive 402 Payment Required response. You can top up through an enabled payment method and retry the request after settlement is confirmed.

Are there any hidden monthly platform fees on Pay As You Go?

Zero. On the Pay As You Go plan, you only pay for the raw tokens consumed by your prompts and completions. There are no monthly maintenance or subscription fees.
